Digression: My development and web 2.0 categories are often rather ambiguous. If the topic is wordpress, then the category I would choose is web 2.0. If the topic is PHP, then development. Obviously we often write Wordpress customisations in PHP…

I’ve added the Wordpress Gravatar plugin, allowing your pretty mugs to be displayed when you comment on this blog.
If you’d like you mugs shown - you should create a Gravatar account. I’ll be modifying the Top commentators plugin to show avatars as well, perhaps.

Wordpress 2.5 Upgrade

I’m kicking the process off now…

Status:

Downloading the latest version from Wordpress. Wordpress 2.5 Tar.Gz, I only get one connection, but it downloaded quickly.
Uploading the Gzip Tar to our FTP server. I created the temp_blog directory and uploaded there.
