Wordpress 2.5 Upgrade

I’m kicking the process off now…
Will it be as easy as I hoped?
Status:

Downloading the latest version from Wordpress. Wordpress 2.5 Tar.Gz, I only get one connection, but it downloaded quickly.
Uploading the Gzip Tar to our FTP server. I created the temp_blog directory and uploaded there.

Wordpress 2.5 Upgrade time

It seems to be time to start the upgrade process. And it will be painful, I’ve got a stack of plugins, some probably will not even be compatible in Wordpress 2.5.
So here is my plan:

Install Wordpress 2.5 in a new directory (i.e. /nzfusion/test_blog/) with a new database
Install the plugins
