I’ve just taken to using the jQuery libraries; but the prototype and script.aculo.us libraries look exciting, especially lightbox. The AJAX functionality appears to be pretty similar between jQuery and protoype. I’m also using jQuery for form validation, so how do jQuery and protype compare?

jQuery

I was going to look into YUI, but I found jQuery, which is a lightweight javascript toolkit to help speed the javascript development process. So far, I’m a fan. But perhaps it doesn’t provide as much functionality of other JS toolkits?
