You might wonder why the word of the day is so simple, it is an attempt to build an understanding of other languages. I figure that with a word a day, I might understand a dozen different words in written form… Yesterdays word was “Sun“, a basic word and many languages less than 4 characters.
Today’s word is very important to me, I know it may be difficult to get in many regions… but it is good!

Compiling this list, I used Answers.com translations, Google translate and the Kamusi project.
The next step is really putting the words into a useful sentence; if the objective is speaking. It is much more difficult to find transcription utilities online, but they are there… so while I find some that I can use, I will continue to only translate - for the purpose of reading.
