Brewing social alcohol

IdeaLog: Brewing social alcohol this is a short interesting interview with Epic’s Luke Nicholas.

I have been impressed with Epic’s web 2.0 marketing approach since well November last year. I like Luke’s approach - just try everything to see if it is a good fit. It sounds really time consuming, but he has got a website, blog, social network visibility, twitter, jaiku, flickr, youtube, google maps… it really seems like he’s got it covered online, I wonder how long it will be till Epic is delivering it’s full of hops taste overseas?

Personally, I’m a little disappointed that I missed the launch of Epic lager. I’ll have to go down to the Malthouse and give it a taste.

Don’t worry you haven’t missed out on the official launch of Epic Lager. Even though it is starting to be stock by a number of outlets there is a long way before all outlets will be offered Epic Lager. This gives me a chance to increase stock levels, so we don’t run out on the first batch. I’m away for a couple of weeks in April in California, as a judge at the World Beer Cup, but when I return I plan to start doing tastings and promote the new Epic Lager - the Newest Beer in the World. You will know when, if you follow me on twitter.

    Cheers
    Luke

Awesome news, so Epic Lager is in Beta?

I like twitter, but I wish there was a way to sort out the invitations to beer launch parties from the “I <3 coffee” tweets.
