That is my current working week, 4 days (or 30 hours) of Java and 2 days (roughly 20 hours) of PHP. Though the later is more experimental; building web 2.0 centric webservices and looking for opportunities to do so. The initial is more traditional work.
In the PHP space, we are looking at Google’s open social framework and Facebook’s framework. Amazon webservices looks like a sensible stepping stone - and a very lucrative idea for them. Imagine controlling every bodies data and mission critical code?!? Sort of like Google controlling every ones webesite information and Facebook (and co.) controlling everyones personal information… very sensible business model.
Unfortunately, not much free time for running and jumping around the harbour and gym! Trying to fit it in a little more.
