Race 2 wasn’t as good for Mahe. The score is now 2-1; but it doesn’t matter, not even when it comes to Nationals. The decision on who will represent New Zealand in the single will be decided in the national trials. Perhaps in a best of three series. So it could be possible that are national champion doesn’t even go to the Olympics.
Hopefully this top level racing will prove to be excellent preparation for this years Olympics.
