Have begun thinking about what are the ideals that I believe are required for a technology project to run well. And I have begun to realise that I am not doing myself any favours by neglecting to record my ideas. This is one reason why I am failing myself at improving my own marketability.
Anyhow: Idea for today - development wiki. I think all specs/requirements and other data should be in wikis. I have been on plenty of projects where the information is lost, outdated and difficult to find. Projects last a long time and they span many individuals - and there is only one truth - what works for you will be lost to others.
